My half sister and I beleive this man is her father, our Mom and he where engaged in 1941 and he was shipped overseas before they could marry. He put her on a train for New York City to stay with his family, but she became afraid and got off the train before it left for NYC. She never heard from JC again. My mom has passed on now and my sister would like to know more about her father, who in all probaility, does not or did not know she exsisted. He was likley to have been stationed in the West Tennessee area for training as an Army Air Corp Pilot when mom met him.
